Families receiving food.

This family comes from the coast. The husband and father has been very ill and is unable to work.
Their house had fallen down a few months ago in a storm and this family was finding it very difficult to be able to have enough to eat. The mother comes from the coast and goes house to house selling goat cheese from a basket. She was so thrilled to receive this wonderful gift of food to take home.















This tiny single mother comes from an outlying village of Chichicastenango. She walks the streets of Panajachel trying to sell a few woven items to the tourists. She carries her baby on her back, he was very malnourished but is now in our milk program. Her whole family is very poor and does not have enough to eat. She was so happy to receive this gift of food to take home to the family.
