Perfect House, Backpackers Hostel, NGO office, business for Sale in Beautiful San Andres, Guatemala within 20 minutes from Gorgeous Lake Atitlan!
PERFECT HOUSE FOR HOSTAL/NGO/OFFICE IN SAN ANDRES SEMETABAJ
$39,875
Call 3007-4831 and ask for Dwight!
A spacious, secure house that is just perfect for a hostel or NGO office space is for sale in San Andres Semetabaj. This small, rural town (pop. 315) is about a 20 min drive up the back road from Panajachel (Pana), Lake Atitlan, on the way to Godinez, Patzun, as well as San Lucas Toliman and Santiago Atitlan.
It is colorfully painted with some wonderful murals, this along with the building being well maintained, makes it a fantastic turn key property that only needs a small amount of work before it is operational.
The house is entered through a staircase off the main road into San Andres up a staircase to a large courtyard with the house occupying two sides with two stories. The road from Panajachel is about 20 metres from the door and is where local buses and pickups stop, so very close to public transport.
On the ground level is a large kitchen space to one side of the courtyard while on the other is a large, spacious double room with large bathroom. Outside in a covered porch area is a pila and two toilets. Wooden stairs lead to the upper level where, above the kitchen is a large main bedroom, behind this another large bedroom with a loft area (perfect for a dormitory), then four smaller rooms lead off the upper porch area. There are two bathrooms on this level.
Both the courtyard and upper porch area boast fabulous views of the surrounding lush countryside. Perfect for hanging out in or stringing up a hammock. Or, for an NGO working in the area, it is the perfect office space, with meeting rooms and accommodation as well, for volunteers or staff.
Built from a mixture of block with the use of a lot of attractive, rustic wood. The water, drainage and electricity is all in good order.

Medical help urgently needed for 4 year old boy!
Mario is 4 years old. Today he was rushed to the hospital in Solola when a pot of boiling water was pushed onto him.
Mario's father left him and his 4 siblings and went to live with another woman. His mother also left him and his siblings and went to live with another man.
Mario and his two other young brothers are being raised by an aunt. The two older children are adults now and have moved on with their lives.
Mario's aunt has to work to be able to feed the children. She has a 16 year old girl looking after the children while she is at work. There was a big pot of boiling water on the fire......Mario and his brothers were playing inside...and there was an accident, one of them shoved Mario and the pot fell on top of him burning him severely.
He is now in Solola hospital and the aunt needs medication to be able to help him.
She does not have the money to purchase these medicines. Also now she has to stay at the hospital caring for Mario and she cannot work to feed the family.
If you would like to help Mario get the medication he needs and also his aunt have money to feed the other children, please send a donation to www.mayanfamilies.org ...and note on it ...MARIO. ...thank you so much!
