This morning we are having an American woman who has worked with Women's groups and Physical abuse against women for 20 years will be giving a talk to all the women on our staff.
We hope it will be a great learning experience for them.
Guatemala is ranked 116/135 countries for gender equality , on par with Jordan and Zambia.
There is certainly room for great improvement there!
We feel that it really starts with education...that is just one reason we are so proud of our School Sponsorship program and all the girls and young women who have a chance to go to school today ...who otherwise would not be receiving an education.
