Raquel is one of our sponsored students. She has never been able to afford traditonal clothing.
She was so thrilled to receive this beautiful gift of traditional clothing.
Raquel's father was killed in a bus accident 8 years ago.
She has two brothers and two sisters.
They sell fruit on the street before and after school.
The mother washes clothes by hand in private homes.
Together they earn about $4 US per day.
Traditional clothing is something that was a dream for Raquel but there was no way that she could afford to buy it.
