New Traditional clothing for Father!

This widowed father of two young boys was thrilled to receive this
wonderful gift of new traditional clothing from his son's sponsor.

His wife passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. It has
been very hard on the father and the two young boys.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the people who  have been
helping this family ....they are doing much better.

Traditional clothing is very expensive and would be impossible for
this father to purchase....this is one of the very sad reasons why we
see so few men wearing traditional clothing or "traje" as it is called
in Guatemala.

Thank you to Rhonda Gamble and her family, this father not only has
new clothes that will probably last him for the next 20 years at
least, but this gift is keeping the traditions of Guatemala alive. It
is also providing work for the women who weave these garments.
