Shoes!!!!

Shoes are always in demand in Guatemala. We never have enough of them. There are so many children walking around without shoes or with shoes falling apart. I watched today at a meeting as a little five year old kept taking her foot out of her shoes. The shoe was way too small for her but she was determined to keep them on, she had already bent the back of the shoe so that her foot could almost fit in them.

Children here get so excited about having a pair of shoes.
