Mayan Families Guatemala

Today has been a very busy day here at Mayan Families! We had over 300 people (sponsors and families) picking up food. Right now we are busy starting to pack Christmas Tamale Baskets. We will be packing baskets tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. We the staff are prepared to stay late and work hard to get these baskets out, so if you still want to order a basket and have not, this is the perfect time.

The tradition here in Guatemala is to give your neighbors and friends tamales. Not having tamales for Christmas in Guatemala is like not being able to eat turkey for Thanksgiving.
