Tigre and Carmensita.

Tigre and Carmen's mother died last week. We are doing all we can to keep the family together. There are elder brothers and sisters who think it would be best if they take one of the siblings each because the father does not have enough food for them.
But we feel that these two have lost enough already and to lose each other and not live with their father in their home is too much for them. Today we gave them food to help them get through the week and we also gave them a stuffed animal each. Tigre whose nickname means Tiger in Spanish was thrilled to find a stuffed tiger and Carmen loved the teddy bear! Thank you everyone who is able to send toys to us. We stockpile them for Christmas but they also great through out the year for children who are ill or who are going through a death in the family.
