These are just a few of the elderly that we are caring for in Panajachel.Every day, five days a week, they receive a hot lunch. For many it is the only meal of the day that they will have.
We also provide them with medical care as we are able to do so ....and also provide some of the things that they need, such as adult diapers . We also try to give the elderly help with comfort. Many of them do not have mattresses, they are sleeping on bare boards.....this is very hard on old bones that are already very sore.
