MAYAN FAMILIES Recognized as Top Nonprofit for Education, Women's Empowerment and more!

PANAJACHEL, GUATEMALA


– Mayan Families has been named a top-rated nonprofit in six categories through GreatNonprofits' reviews of charitable organizations. Mayan Families is listed as a top women's empowerment organization and a top education organization among others.

GreatNonprofits is a nonprofit organization that provides an online forum for reviews of nonprofits. The reviews by Mayan Families volunteers, donors and others led to Mayan Families inclusion as a top nonprofit in six key areas including Education, Animal Welfare, Arts 2011, Food and Shelter, Science and Technology and Women's Empowerment.

GreatNonprofits was started as a site to provide reviews and ratings of U.S. nonprofits. Users can rate more than 1.2 million nonprofits through the site and partner sites.
