This is the link to an article posted in a local Canadian newspaper about Ren, a volunteer who visited this summer. Ren is a teacher whose group made such a difference in so many lives!
The family that she and her friends are sponsoring is 7 children who were all malnourished.
The family was living on approx. $12 US per week. Several of the younger children are now attending the Panajachel Pre-school, "Caritas Sonadoras" ....little faces with big dreams....and having a great time.!
