Child in need of medical care.

We have had this little girl on our milk program for some time now. We received an urgent call from the social worker at the hospital that the child had been admitted with pnuemonia, malnourished and is having some kind of convulsions and needs to have examinations.

The mother is a single mother with three children. She has been receiving a big can of milk for the baby twice a month but we feel that she has been sharing the milk with the other children and this is why the baby is not improving too much.

This mother does not have enough food for the children and now in this very difficult situation in Guatemala she has even less food for the children. Now she is unable to work while the baby is in hospital and there is no one to work to be able to buy food.
