Mayan Families has been constructing Bio Sand water filters and we are hoping that they will be well received. These water filters are supposed to provide clean drinking water for ten years!!!This would be absolutely fantastic. The water filters are made of cement and they are very, very heavy. We have so far, under the direction of the organization, Wuqu' Kawoq, S.A.. We have made a 100 to distribute.
