Mayan Families makes the GREAT NON PROFITS 2010 list!

Hi everyone,
I am so excited to tell you this wonderful news!
Mayan Families has made the Great Non Profits list for 2010!

Supporters around the country have spoken up about great nonprofits! In the 2010 GreatNonprofits Animal Welfare Campaign more than 500 reviews were posted about 99 organizations working on behalf of animals, wild and domestic, both in the U.S. and overseas.

22 nonprofits qualified for the Top-Rated Animal Welfare Nonprofits List. The full list is available at http://www.greatnonprofits.org/reviews/issues/animals/_.

"We are excited to have learned about the many wonderful nonprofit organizations that are working on behalf of animals," said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits. "We hope our campaign helps bring deserved attention to their efforts."

Mayan Families was reviewed during the campaign and we made the list on page one! This gives us wonderfyul exposure. You can see those reviews at our GreatNonprofits profile: www.greatnonprofits.org/reviews/mayan-families

Here is what you can do.

If you love our work then tell the world! You have an exciting opportunity to help Mayan Families make even more of a difference in Guatemala. GreatNonprofits.org – a site like Amazon Book Reviews or TripAdvisor – is launching a campaign to find the top-rated nonprofits in today's world.
Won't you help us participate in the campaign by posting a review of your experience with us? All reviews will be visible to potential donors and volunteers. It's easy and only takes 3 minutes! Go to:
http://www.greatnonprofits.org/reviews/mayan-families

Please help us by choosing "Overall Rating" 5 stars.
Be sure to choose "Science and Technology" from the drop-down list of (" Should this review be counted for a specific campaign?") when posting your review. We qualify for this because we work with, help test and evaluate Water Filters, Fuel Efficient Stoves and Educational and Technology Projects here in the highlands of Guatemala.
Also one of the questions, I believe, is a bit confusing and it is (I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...) what they are asking for is what results have you seen? Examples are I passed out donations to families and children, I helped install Fuel Efficient Stoves etc.
In the second part they ask you to sign up with them or you can use your face-book account to sign up. Either way works.
It is simple and easy.
The last part of the questionnaire is a part that you can expand on your thoughts about Mayan Families or skip and submit your review. One of the questions in that last part is, (If this organization had 10 Million bucks, what could they do with it? I love that questions.

With your help, we can gain greater visibility in the community.

Because of this honor we are allowed to have their Badge on our web site. It is on the home page, midway down, left hand side. If you click on that button it will take you to our reviews on www.greatnonprofits.org
