2nd floor classroom going up in San Jorge.

The second floor of the much needed classroom in San Jorge is going up!
Thanks to a wonderful donation we have been able to continue construction on the second floor.

This classroom is going to be so appreciated when school starts again. Presently, there is one classroom of children who are having their classes in a makeshift classroom of tin sheeting with no natural light and no electricity. It is really only a "lean to" against another classroom. It has a dirt floor which has been awful in the wet season.

There are two other grades that are being taught in a "temporary classrooms" that are not even on the school grounds. They are in horrible sheds that are owned by the municipalidad.
They have very little light, they are hot and when it rains it is impossible for them to hear the teacher.

We are so happy that thanks to this very generous donation that one of these classrooms will now be able to move to a decent classroom where they will have room to sit, have light, fresh air and space to move.
