This week we started art classes for children. These classes are free and are being run by Lisa , and she is being helped Anna, Ashton, Zoe, Merrill , Daniel and other volunteers.
We are giving art classes every Monday , Wednesday and Friday.
One session in the morning and one session in the afternoon.
The kids have been loving this and even the mothers have been joining in.
One mother told us that she had never drawn before. She did not go to school and had never had the chance to do anything like this. She had a great time. One of the other mothers told me that she forgot that she was a senora during that time!
We are using the materials that we have but it would be wonderful to receive donations that would enable us to buy paint.
We are using some of the art work to decorate the pre-school.
