Partnering with AWARE.

Mayan Families is pleased to announce that we are partnering with AWARE . AWARE is the only no kill animal shelter in Guatemala, in fact, it may be the only animal shelter.

Mayan Families is a member of WSPA ( World Society for Protection of Animals) and runs monthly free and low cost spay and neuter clinics.

These clinics are held in the hope of reducing the amount of unwanted dogs and cats that live terrible lives of suffering.

Mayan Families and AWARE have been working together informally for years. We have now decided to formalize our partnership and collaborate on more projects to try and help the animals of Guatemala.
