We have been very happy to have had 100 stoves donated by the Stanford University Rotaract Club. This wonderful group of students spent nearly two weeks in Panajachel with Mayan Families installing the stoves.
One of the students, Daniel has remained behind and is continuing to install stoves with the Mayan Families team.
The mother of student #869 Jefferson was so happy not to have to cook anymore on the "stove" pictured above. She now has the beautiful new onil stove that uses 70% less firewood !
