ART CLASSES AT THE ROCK HOUSE!

Art classes started last week at the Rock House. We call it the Rock House or Casa de Piedras because as you can see in the photos all the walls are made of rocks. We tried to come up with another name but it kept going back to the Rock House....so now it is officially the Rock House.
This is where the Panajachel pre-school will also be operating.

The art classes are open to all children , they started coming in slowly the first week but now word has spread and there are lots of children coming ....and more each time.

The class is happening Monday , Wednesday and Friday. One session in the morning and one in the afternoon. It was supposed to be just one hour but they seem to run over into two hours.

The kids are really loving it and so are some of the mothers who are also coming along and
enjoying drawing and just being creative.

We have volunteers running these classes right now, Lisa, Debbie, Anna and Daniel. They are doing a great job.

We would like to continue these classes but we need some funds to be able to accomplish this.
We would like to have a child sponsored for $5 a month to be able to attend the classes...this will pay for materials.
