Tierra Linda Sewing classes.

These women have graduated from the Tierra Linda Sewing classes. They have learnt to make patchwork blankets from donations of materials received.
They make one for themselves for home and one for Mayan Families to have to be able to give to families in need.

The sewing progam is very short of funds and we have decided that a great way to make funds for Mayan Families and to provide work for the sewing graduates would be to offer these blankets for sale to anyone who would like to help.

These blankets will cost $20 US and you are able to specify that one should go to your sponsored family or to any family in need. This money will be used to provide funding for the sewing program and a percentage will go to the woman who made the blanket. This provides much needed money and work to the sewing graduates, it gives funding to the sewing program to be able to continue and it provides blankets for families in need.

  1. Sharon this is a wonderful idea! I am sending funds for 3. If they are not ready for sale, it is fine. They can be giving to the sponsored families when ready.
